Fortini Home, Garden and Design - Saturday, July 26, 2008

We did a story recently on the brightly-colored pots we've all been noticing in nurseries.  But, truthfully, neutrals still appeal to me the most.  Especially when there's something just a little different about them. Take these pots manufactured by Viducci's Garden seen at Fortini Home Garden Design in San Luis Obispo, California, for example.

The first thing I noticed about them was their subtle color.  It reminds me of mushroom bisque or hazelnut ice cream or an especially creamy latte.  Just a yummy shade.  The shape of these pots is pretty cool, too.  Mostly classic only a little more streamlined.  I can't imagine a plant that wouldn't look good in these beauties, and I'm wondering now how I managed to leave Fortini's without picking up a pair or two.
